PRAYER IS ANSWER TO DEFEAT OF SATAN
Prayer is answer to defeat of Satan
MAY the love and compassion of God, we pray, reach out to the people of Omagh in this time of untold sadness and great loss.
Beyond a shadow of doubt, this was the work of Satan and his army. Our loving, heavenly father never wanted 28 of his children to die at the hands of these ruthless men. Satan is the most ruthless and powerful commander of all time, directing these young men to the most horrible of all deeds. As is said: may God forgive them for they know not what they do, may they seek forgiveness before they close their eyes in death.
No amount of security on its own, is a match for this great force of evil, Satan can be defeated, if we join forces with a great army of prayer.
The Rev Kearr, on radio, mentioned a loving idea; next Saturday, at ten minutes to ten, a prayer will be said on air for the people of Omagh, asking God to console them. If we could compose a prayer, agreeable to people of all faiths, which would be broadcast each Saturday, we could extend a hand of friendship to all our fellow countrymen, regardless of race, colour or creed.
