GAA MARK MIXED OMAGH RELIGIONS

GAA mark mixed Omagh religions

FOR the first time in the history of the GAA a multi-denominational ceremony will take place in Croke Park before next Saturday's All-Ireland hurling semi-final replay, as a mark of respect to the victims of the Omagh bombing.
The ceremony will take place at 3pm before the Clare v Offaly game, and will conclude with a minute's silence and prayers from children representing the 32 counties.
Last night, the GAA requested that all supporters attend the special service as an expression of sympathy and support for the victims of the bombing.
