Owen calls for national day of mourning
FINE Gael deputy leader, Nora Owen TD, called on the Government to declare a national day of mourning as a mark of respect for those who died or have been injured, and their friends and families who have and will continue to suffer as a result of the Omagh atrocity.
"A day of mourning will allow the people of Ireland to reiterate their desire for peace and clearly express their rejection of violence," she said.
