TELL US WHO DID THIS STORMS NOONAN

Tell us who did this, storms Noonan
by Tony Purcell

FORMER Justice Minister, Fine Gael's Deputy Michael Noonan, last night called on Sinn Fein/IRA to provide the necessary information to the British and Irish Governments to help bring those responsible for the appalling carnage to justice.
Condemning the bombing outrage, Deputy Noonan said: "It seems clear that a breakaway republican group who do not agree with the Good Friday Agreement were the perpetrators of this appalling act. It would be very helpful to both Irish and British Governments if Sinn Fein/IRA provided them with the necessary information to identify the dissidents involved in this and responsible for the deaths of at least 28 people and 200 injured.
"It seems clear that these dissidents are well-known within the wider republican movement and it will be a litmus test of Sinn Fein's commitment to the Agreement if they assist in ending this new campaign of terror."
"This appalling tragedy looks like a "psycho psychopathic act" with no regard whatsoever for the lives of men, women and children.
"One can only be fearful of the future intention of such a mindless group of murderers, and the Irish and British Government must use all the full resources to track down those responsible for this bombing outrage to justice."
Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Limerick, Ald Sean Griffin, also condemning the bombing, said that the outrage had devastated every human being and every fair-minded person in this country irrespective of their creed and colour. "The bombing has done damage to Ireland and its reputation and I hope that the perpetrators of this evil deed will be bought to justice pretty soon and dealt with."
He was speaking at the launching of the Limerick Good Food Festival yesterday afternoon following an Ecumenical Service in St.John's Cathedral.
