MAN QUIZZED OVER OMAGH BOMB
Man quizzed over Omagh bomb
POLICE investigating the Omagh bomb were yesterday morning (Wednesday) questioning a man they arrested in connection with the atrocity.
It is understood that the 34 -year-old was detained in the South Down area on Tuesday.
A total of 29 people, including a woman pregnant with twins, died in the 1998 explosion. One man, Sean Hoey (36) of Molly Road, Jonesborough, Co. Armagh, is currently facing charges in connection with the bomb. His trial is expected to begin next year.
