OMAGH BOMB PROBE: MAN RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE

Omagh bomb probe: man released without charge

A MAN, who was arrested in connection with the Omagh bombing last Wednesday, has been released without charge.
The 44-year-old man was picked up by police in the Dungannon area at around 10am, and subsequently released on Friday morning.
To date, only one person, Colm Murphy, has been jailed in connection with the bombing. In January 2002 the Special Criminal Court in Dublin sentenced the Dundalk-based builder and publican to 14 years in jail.
Murphy and four others - Seamus Daly, Seamus McKenna, Michael McKevitt, and Liam Campbell are being sued by the Omagh Victims' Civil Action Group in a landmark legal action.
