MAN ARRESTED IN OMAGH BOMB PROBE
Man arrested in Omagh bomb probe
A 32-YEAR-OLD Co. Monaghan man was due to appear at Dublin's Special Criminal Court yesterday in connection with the August, 1998 Omagh bombing.
Gardai investigating the atrocity arrested the man in the Iniskeen area of Co. Monaghan.
A Garda spokesman said Seamus Daly (32) was arrested in connection with, investigations into the bombing or matters arising from it". His
arrest followed a warrant issued by the Special Criminal Court.
At the time of going to press Daly had not appeared in court.
