Omagh Fund celebrity auction 'goes live'

Or would you prefer a VIP trip to the Arrows Formula 1 Factory for a conducted tour of their technical facility? Seems impossible? - not any more for Omagh Celebrity Fund Auction has gone live on the Internet.
The Website www.auction.irl.net has been open since 12 August to allow users to register their interests this week it all becomes a reality.
Rosenet Ltd and Rosebank Internet Services Ltd. acting for Omagh District Council, agents for the Omagh Fund, will initiate Ireland's first ever
on-line Celebrity Auction.
A host of stars from the world of television, entertainment, and sport have all contributed to this unique auction.
Premiership teams from Blackburn to Liverpool, Ulster and Republic of Ireland Rugby stars and a host of others have donated autographed team strips and loads of other items which will delight any collector or fan.
The Omagh Fund was set up in the aftermath of last year's August 15 atrocity. To date the fund has reached in excess of £5.4 million.
Fundraising officially ceased on the August 14, and although a number of fundraisers proposed prior to the closure date are taking place, the Online Celebrity Auction is easily the most unusual.
If you would like to participate in the auction, you can register now on www.auction.irl.net and each time a bid is placed you will be notified.
The auction will only run until September 21 so you have just three weeks to ensure you end up with a treasured item from your favourite star.
New items will be added to the auction during the three weeks to allow everyone a chance to participate.
