Omagh Academicals Rugby Club president, Jack Reid (right) receives a cheque for £7,900 for the Omagh Fund from Waterpark Rugby Club. The money was raised at a dinner and auction organised by the Waterford-based club, who play in All Ireland League division four with Omagh. Handing over the cheque are Brian Morrisey, president of Waterpark, and Fiona Kennealy, also from the club, the daughter of the late Bunny Kennealy, who was a past president of Omagh. The presentation was made at a reception during the staging of the annual Omagh Bass Sevens, of which the proceeds will also go to the Omagh Fund.
