Bomb scenes to feature in Dispatches'
CHANNEL 4 have forewarned bereaved families in Omagh that tonight's (Thursday) Dispatches programme at 9.30pm will contain amateur video-recorded footage of the scenes after the Market Street bomb of August 15, last year.
The programme producers contacted the local Trauma Team to ask them to inform the families of the contents of the documentary about Republican hardliners.
According to the team, a significant number of bomb victims have indicated that they would appreciate advance warnings of such programmes.
Channel 4 will make a statement at the beginning of tonight's programme advising viewers of the type of footage that will be shown.
Reporter Joe Layburn will investigate who is really in control of the Republican movement, and asks whether the future of Northern Ireland is war or peace.
