PRAISE FOR DOMINIC KIRWAN
Praise for Dominic Kirwan
Sir,
May I through your newspaper wish the people of Omagh a peaceful Christmas, and hope for the future.
We have just returned from another trip to your town, where we were entertained by Dominic Kirwan, at three of his shows, and, as usual, the people of Omagh made everyone welcome in spite of the recent tragedy.
The townsfolk have really made an effort with their beautiful Christmas lights, in spite of their heartbreak.
One thing that disappointed us was the switching on of the lights by Daniel O'Donnell, nothing personal against Daniel, but we thought that honour would have been given to Dominic a very proud local man who, never fails to praise his home town at his shows, and he has raised lots of money for Omagh Memorial Fund during his recent tours.
We have been fans of his since 1989, and find him to be a very considerate person, who goes out of his way for his fans.
Omagh should be proud of him, and he is the best singer and entertainer we have ever seen.
