THANKS - MARLOW
We, the parents, sister, brothers, grandmothers, boyfriend and entire family circle wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who supported us in our recent and tragic loss of our very special daughter Jolene. As a family, it seems impossible to pay tribute to all the individuals who have supported us through this horrific period, however, for now we wish to mention a special thank you to those who attended Jolene at the scene of the explosion on August 15: To Fr. Mullan and Fr. Barber who administered her last rites, to the staff and voluntary workers of Tyrone County Hospital and emergency services, to the council representatives and Leisure Centre staff. To all the social workers, especially Mrs. Marion McGale, Carmel Cullen and Fr Hassan, along with our family Liaison Officer, Alison Lawson, who comforted us in so many ways.
A special tribute to all those kind family, friends and neighbours who brought gifts and helped in our home by calling, by letter, by telephone, by donations, by offering transport and for all their prayers, masses offered, floral tributes and signing our book of condolences. We thank our own Rev. Fr. Terence Connolly for his continuous support and for his excellent funeral service, assisted by Bishop Duffy, Fr. Kevin Duffy, Fr. Kelly S.M.A, Fr. Gilmore, Monsignor McSorley, Fr. Marron and Rev. Brian Bowyer from Newtownsaville and to all other members of the clergy who attended the funeral or called within recent weeks.
Many thanks to the undertaker Brian McSorley, and Ted Quinn and to the gravediggers. To all who were involved in the liturgy:- Organist, Choir, Musicians. A special word of thanks to the staff and pupils of Loreto Convent Grammar and to Mrs. Joan Harte for co-ordinating the Offertory Procession.
To all the G.A.A sporting organisations, namely our own Eskra Club, both football and camogie, St. McCartan's ladies, Loreto Football team, Loreto pupils and Eskra P.S. who carried out their duties and guards of honour with such dignity. To the president and past president's of the G.A.A and to all the members of the Ulster Council and Tyrone County Boards for their support.
Additionally thanks are extended to Patsy and Liz O'Hagan and staff for their support and for providing refreshments after funeral.
We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation. We also wish to extend our deepest sympathy to all the other families who were bereaved and all of those who were injured by this horrific deed.
The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be celebrated for all your intentions. Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 10, at 11am, in St Patrick's Church, Eskra.
