ACT OF REMEMBRANCE

Act of remembrance'

THE Royal British Legion has appealed to local businesses and schools to observe a minute's silence on November 11 to not only remember the dead of two World Wars, but those who died in last month's bombing.
Members of Omagh District Council were made aware of the appeal by vice-chairman, Mr Allan Rainey, who received a letter from the Legion.
Mr. Oliver Gibson said he felt there was a great wish to retain the act of remembrance on November 11, and it was especially relevant in Omagh this year.
