MOTORCYCLISTS TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR OMAGH
Motorcyclists to show their support for Omagh
AROUND 200 motorcyclists are expected to travel from Dublin to Omagh to make a presentation to the town's memorial fund.
The southern motorcyclists will also lay a wreath when they arrive in Omagh.
Local man Mr Cyril Walker who has been co-ordinating the visit, said the Dublin motorcyclists were expected to arrive in Omagh at about 1.30pm. And he appealed for local enthusiasts to join a party which would travel from Omagh to Monaghan, and then accompany the visitors to Omagh.
Anyone interested in travelling to Monaghan should gather at the Drumragh Avenue car park at 10am, Mr. Walker said.
He also called for people to turn out to welcome the motorcyclists as a token of appreciation of their efforts.
