CHILDREN IN WALK OF HOPE
Children in 'walk of hope'
SCHOOL CHILDREN from Omagh Integrated Primary School and Drumragh College are to join together in a 'walk of hope' on Sunday.
The event has been hailed as a display of hope for the future of Omagh, following the atrocity in the town in August.
The children will meet at Omagh Integrated Primary School at 2pm, and then walk along the Dublin Road before assembling at Omagh Translink Ulsterbus depot at 3pm, where they will join together in poem and song. Organisers have said that the walk has been organised by children for children.
"The school children taking part are from mixed backgrounds and integrated schools. The integrated movement is very new, and this walk reflects the hope for a new future," said the organiser.
Those staging the event say everyone is welcome to take part.
