WATERFRONT CONCERT IS SOLD OUT
Waterfront concert is sold out
TICKETS for the special concert in the Waterfront Hall Belfast, in aid of the Omagh Memorial Fund were completely sold out within 48 hours of going to sale.
Popular singer-songwriter, Brian Kennedy, is to headline the concert, which is to take place on Sunday, October 4.
The event, simply titled 'A Concert for Omagh', will feature an impressive line-up of entertainers including Mary Black, the Ulster Orchestra, and members of the Sands family, as well as a number of surprise guests.
The event is the brainchild of Bangor housewife, Judith Turley, who said she was so moved by the events surrounding the Omagh bombing that she felt compelled to do something for the people affected by the tragedy.
Two hundred tickets for the event are to be given to members of the emergency services and other individuals, who were involved in helping the victims of the bombing.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the Omagh Memorial Fund.
