THANKS - ESTHER GIBSON

THANKS - GIBSON

The mother, father, brothers, sisters, fiancé and entire family circle wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with them in their recent and tragic loss of a very special daughter, sister and fiancée, Esther. As a family it seems quite an impossible task to pay tribute to all the individuals who have supported us through this horrific period, however for now we wish to mention all of the friends, neighbours and strangers who helped in such a practical manner at both homes, sent sympathy messages, floral tributes and donations to the Sabbath School Fund which were received from all over the world. We would like to pay a special tribute to the R.U.C. and traffic branch to whom we are eternally grateful, in particular the Family Liaison Officer, Mr. Austin Strong who was of great help to us all. Also the many other voluntary workers including the Leisure Centre staff, the gravedigger, Mr. Stanley Johnston and the undertaker, Mr. John Anderson, who carried out their duties with great dignity and respect. We wish to thank all the ministers who called at both homes, but in particular those who officiated at Esther's funeral the Rev. William Leonard, Dr. Ian R. K. Paisley, Rev. William McCrea and the Rev. Ivan Foster and who all spoke so highly of Esther. Rev. Roy Stewart and Mr. Chris Killen, the organist Mrs. Chris Gervais, and all who helped with the catering in Cloughfin Orange Hall. Trusting this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation. We also wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the other families who were bereaved and all of those injured by this horrific deed.
- Usnagh, Beragh.
