THE EVIL THAT STRUCK OUR TOWN (POEM)
The evil that struck our town
We are but very grieved, Dear Lord"
For the evil that struck our town,
And robbed us of our loving people,
Twenty-nine in all cut down.
As well, "Dear Loving Jesus", too,
So many maimed for life,
Just hanging on in Jesus' name,
With faith to relive life again.
"Oh Jesus, Dear Lord Jesus",
Give strength to all who mourn,
Just take them in your loving arms,
And lock them in your heart.
We all are very stressed Dear Lord,
Please help us in our pain,
And send us strength from heaven above,
"In our Dear Lord Jesus' name".
