PRAYING FOR THE HEALING PROCESS
Praying for the healing process
Because my wife has recently died, I feel that I know what pain the bereaved families are suffering. Not only pain but, every other emotion such as guilt, regret, sadness and utter hopelessness. Also the various questions one asks one self such as, what if? What have we done wrong etc.
These emotions gradually subside to a lower level after a few weeks but the pain of it all is very persistent. What must eventually start to come through the horror of it all are the memories of the nice times enjoyed with those that died.
Please convey my condolences to all the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grandparents and all other relatives, and say that tears filled by eyes every time the horror of Omagh was shown on television.
My heart goes out to every one of those relatives and I pray that the healing process will start soon for them.
Yours
