BOMBING CONDEMNED
Bombing condemned
The bombing atrocity in Omagh has been unanimously condemned by members of Omagh District Partnership, which held its first meeting since the outrage on Friday.
Members of the Partnership, which administers Sub-Programme 6 of the Special Support Programme for Peace and Reconciliation, began their meeting with a minute's silence, following which members not only condemned the attack, but expressed their sympathy to the bereaved and injured and commended all those who had assisted in any way following the bomb.
At the meeting the Board also agreed to review its own strategy with a view to redirecting some of its resources to assist the victims of the bomb.
"This matter is to be further investigated and a report will be prepared for the next meeting of the Partnership," a spokesman said.
