It was one day in August,
As the summer sun shone down.
When the terrorists did their deeds,
in Market Street in Omagh town.
Many lives were changed forever,
Many lives were taken away.
On that Saturday afternoon,
One tragic August day.
Ten years have gone by,
And yet memories are vivid still.
Of all the devastation,
And those who were killed.
But the future's looking brighter,
Since those sad dark times.
