OMAGH FOLK REMEMBERED IN BOOTLE

Omagh folk remembered in Bootle

It is good to know that in some far away places the bereaved and injured of the Omagh bomb atrocity in August 1998 have still not been forgotten.
The Tyrone Constitution received an Easter Card earlier this week with a message to 'all the people of Omagh'.
"You remain in our prayers and thoughts," was the assurance given.
And the card extends "a special prayer that God will bless your Easter Day with happiness and may His love be ever near to bless and keep you through the year."
The good wishes came from all in the Bootle area of Liverpool, especially the parish of St. Richards and St. Alexander.
At the time of the atrocity there was a special service of remembrance held in the vicinity and a Book of Condolences was also forwarded.
No doubt, it will be an encouragement to some to know that they have not been forgotten.
