Mr. and Mrs. Dai Waterson, of the Royal Arms Hotel, Omagh, presenting a cheque for �4,605 for the Omagh Fund to the chairman of Omagh District Council, Mr. Scan Clarke, who received it on behalf of the Fund. The money was raised by the Waterson family, with the aid of Mr. Pat Chesters (left) and Mr. Willie Loughrey when with others they organised a special concert in the hotel, supported by a large number of Omagh and district artistes who performed on the night. Also in the photograph are Mr. Allan Rainey, council vice-chairman, and Mr. John McKinney, chief executive.
