LONDON THEATRE EVENT TO BOOST OMAGH FUND

A SPECIAL event in aid of the Omagh Memorial Fund will be held in Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London tonight (Thursday).
A reception and tour of the theatre, on the South Bank of the River Thames, near London Bridge, is being organised by Vicky Ford, daughter of Lady Deborah Cassidi and the late Dr Anthony Pollock, formerly of Omagh.
Tickets for the fundraising evening cost £30, and over 100 people are expected to attend. A large number of donations have already been received.
The faithfully reconstructed Globe Theatre was opened in June 1997, on the site of the original Elizabethan building where Shakespeare's plays were performed.
