FASHION AND STYLE EXTRAVAGANZA WILL HELP OMAGH FUND

AN evening of fashion and elegance is promised for patrons attending a major fashion show which will take place on Tuesday, November 10, with the entire proceeds going to the Omagh Memorial Fund.
The newly-refurbished Mellon Country Inn is the venue for the style extravaganza, which will feature the latest and best in local fashion worn by models from top agencies.
The organisers are hoping to raise £10,000 for the victims of the Omagh bomb, and tickets are already going fast.
Omagh shops are providing the clothes which will be modelled on the night, with contributions from Style, She, Dunnes, Vogue, Classic Menswear, Wattersons and Benetton.
And The Loft, from Fintona, will be presenting a selection of evening wear for the more formal occasions.
The models all of whom are giving their time free of charge are from Belfast's top modelling agencies: Style Academy and ACA Modelling Agency.
Included in the elegant line up will be local girl, Mary McGonagle, and the current Miss Northern Ireland, Fiona Salley.
Champagne Promotions of Dublin will take care of the choreography on the night, and the comperes will be Terri Higgins and Gaylia Kristianson, sales and marketing director of Nutri-medics, Dublin.
The fashion show is being sponsored by Nutri-medics, whose local representative, Margaret McCrossan, is organising the event.
Nutri-medics is also sponsoring free facials, and there will be a free product for everyone on the audience.
Patrons will also be invited to take part in an auction with a difference, with some interesting items going under the hammer.
The wine for the evening is being donated by Hollywood and Dillon/Bass.
Tickets for the fashion show are £10, and available from the shops taking part. They can also be obtained from the Tourist Information Centre, Omagh, Anita's Hair Salon, Newtownstewart and Margaret McCrossan, organiser.
