MY DEAREST OMAGH (POEM)
My dearest Omagh
I cry and pray for you today,
I wish my tears would wash your sorrow away,
I wish my prayers a feathered pillow of comfort,
My mind engrossed in your grief,
Shadows the dream of peace,
If I could walk the miles of life and more,
I would do,
If it would ease your sore,
As the Strule gently flows,
A splash a bomb blows,
A hurting darkness shrouds my sweetheart,
A viper tears peace apart,
Now many of your children and friends forever sleep,
Angel of Love in your care, them forever keep,
I know no words I could express,
Will make your sadness less,
My dearest mother I feel the pain of your hurt,
I feel helpless at this time in your shattered life,
May God keep you in his care.
Your loving son,
Constantine B. Darcy
