OMAGH (POEM)

Omagh

We don't want peace,
In this green and fair Isle,
Say the men,
Who live by the bomb and the gun,
Must keep people on the run.

So we'll look for a target,
A quiet market town,
Make it a Saturday,
Their commander "said",
Feelings of glory,
As the deadly plans,
Unfold in his head.

So that now the scene was set,
We will show the people,
Who has the strongest hold on them yet,
Omagh was chosen for this deadly fate,
The finger of hate,
No time to wait,
To bring death and despair,
To this little market town.

Carnage and mayhem all around.
The commander of hate,
Surveys the scene,
Pleased that the deadly deed is done there,
That will keep the people on the run
Say the men who live by the bomb and the gun
