SYMPATHY FROM INDIA
SYMPATHY FROM INDIA
Sir,
To all the bereaved and injured people from the recent bomb blast in Omagh:
The world has known and grieved for you all of the horrific disaster you have experienced recently. What can one say in a loss of this magnitude and how does one comfort in a grief so deep?
It will take a long time to come to grips with life again. God has made us such that we can overcome all that seeks to destroy us. We read in the book of Job "There is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will live again". That takes time.
Don't let this dastardly act cause you to give up. It is as you get up and go on, that it will weaken the evil forces that are against you.
Yours,
Stanley Hawthorne,
Rokeby,
Landour,
Mussoorie,
