Castlederg remembers
ABOUT 1,000 people took part in an act of reflection in Castlederg on Saturday.
The Diamond was packed for the event, which was organised by clergy from the local churches.
Sympathy for the bereaved and good wishes for those injured in the Omagh blast were extended, and the names of the 28 killed were read out.
Those present sang the Hymn "Peace, perfect peace", and at 3.10pm, the crowd fell silent.
At the conclusion, people present joined hands in a gesture of friendship.
There were similar acts of reflection in towns and villages throughout West Tyrone.
