FEELINGS ON OMAGH TRAGEDY (POEM)
FEELINGS ON OMAGH TRAGEDY
My old sorrow,
My new sorrow,
Always pure,
Always vast,
Always flooding my soul,
With despair, With sadness.
I will hang a black ribbon
From my lamp,
And I will break the glass
In my mirrors,
For I don't want to see myself,
If I don't have you.
And I will free my birds,
And I will cut tresses off my hair,
For I want no joy,
If I don't have you.
Along the path of life,
We come and go,
Along the path,
My heart travels,
Ever lonely, always lonely.
