RESCUERS PRAISED
RESCUERS PRAISED
Sir,
May I please via your letters page, express my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the people of Omagh.
I am so distressed that such a tragedy could befall your town.
I extend my thanks to the rescuers who worked so tirelessly. Thanks are also due to private motorists who conveyed injured to hospital.
One of my friends is a firefighter in Omagh.
I have spent some very happy times in lovely Omagh and have some really good friends in your town.
Because of the friendship extended to me by the people of Omagh, I want them to know I grieve with them and for them.
I am registered blind, but still wanted to write my feelings personally. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Yours,
Mrs. Mary Rimmer,
Crosby,
Liverpool.
