BELVOIR PLAYERS' SYMPATHY
BELVOIR PLAYERS' SYMPATHY
Sir,
On behalf of Belvoir Players Amateur Dramatic Society, I write to ask you to convey, through your columns, our deepest condolences to those who have been bereaved and our most sincere sympathies to those who have been injured in yesterday's most appalling bomb attack on our community in Omagh.
Belvoir Players have many happy associations and friends in your part of Tyrone through participation in the Omagh Arts Festival and at the Mid-Ulster Drama Festival at Carrickmore and Drama Festivals in Strabane and Newtownstewart, together with performances made in Castlederg and Drumquin.
As one of the many proud Omagh exiles living and working outside the town I personally feel it proper to express these condolences and sympathies together with our revulsion at this, savage attack on our kith and kin. At the time of writing, in the immediate aftermath of this tragedy, I am unaware of those who have been murdered or so callously injured, but am sure many will be known to us personally. I would like to assure all those touched by this appalling atrocity that they are in all our thoughts at this sad time.
Yours,
Richard Mills (chairman/artistic director)
Belvoir Players, Belfast.
