MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE OF OMAGH
Sir,
I had to write to express my utter revulsion of the carnage visited on your innocent women, children and men. Our anger is palpable here, people are asking in whose name are they doing it? Not ours or yours!
I hope the people shielding these murderers, finally come to their senses and renounce them for what they are, what we know them to be.
We must all work for peace even in these dark and testing times, to do so, will eventually rob these psychopaths of their 'reason d'etre - they do not want our lovely island to be at peace, we must see that they are stopped.
Try not to hate, it will only lead to bitterness. I do know what I ask is seemingly impossible but that way your energies will go to rebuild your lives, futures, Omagh itself and peace.
My thoughts and prayers are ever with you. 'Blessed are the peace-makers, for they shall be called the children of God'.
