INJURED STILL IN HOSPITAL
NINE victims of the Omagh bombing are still detained in the Tyrone County Hospital, most of whom are young adults, while 16 remain in the Erne Hospital. All are in a stable condition.
In the Royal Victoria, seven of the 26 patients are in a critical condition - two children, four women and one man. Of the remaining 19, their injuries range from seriously ill to stable.
A hospital spokesman said they were dealing with a number of multiple injuries, as well as head injuries, burns and compound fractures. All the casualties have shrapnel wounds, and age from 13 years to 68.
Six patients are detained at the South Tyrone Hospital, all of whom are women, ranging from 21 to 36 years of age. They are described as ill, but stable.
A spokesman said they were mainly suffering from abdominal and chest injuries, and upper and lower limb injuries as a result of shrapnel.
