ANOTHER SATURDAY (POEM)
ANOTHER SATURDAY (from Warrington to Omagh)
Another Saturday, another place
Another community with horror to face.
Another child, another mother,
Another father, sister and brother.
When will this senseless violence cease?
When will the peace be real?
When will the cowards who did this
Begin to think and feel?
We felt the pain in ninety three
That Omagh feels today.
We thought some good had come of it,
That peace was here to stay.
You can't give in to terrorists,
To tragedy and pain.
You will achieve the peace you seek
They must not die in vain.
We felt the grief of Ireland,
When we were in despair,
We hope you feel our grief for you,
We hope you know we care.
