MEETING ADJOURNED
MEETING ADJOURNED
THE monthly meeting of Dungannon District Council's leisure services committee on Monday night was adjourned as a mark of respect to the victims of the Omagh atrocity.
There was condemnation from all council groupings and many members expressed their admiration for all the emergency services and those who in the past few days had worked continuously to alleviate the suffering.
In order to allow the people in the town to express their sympathy, a Book of Condolence was opened in the council offices on Tuesday and will be available for signing during normal council opening hours.
And to facilitate the entire district, other Books of Condolence were also available from yesterday (Wednesday). Among the places allocated were Fivemiletown Library, Aughnacloy and Ballygawley Post Offices and Clogher Valley Rural Centre in Clogher.
