A WORD OF COMFORT (POEM)
A WORD OF COMFORT
We send our deepest sympathies,
To the people of Omagh Town.
Out shopping on a summer's day
Their loved ones were cut down
No words we know could express our grief,
For the pain that you must feel,
When the sinfulness of satan's nature
Makes the wounds so hard to heal.
We pray that God will remove these men,
If repentance is not ordained,
To save our land from future turmoil,
With loved killed and maimed.
For the word of God is very clear,
That 'Vengeance is truly mine,
I will repay these evil men,
For the nature of their crime".
Seek God alone to heal our country,
Through the Prince of Peace his Son,
For the broken heart can turn to him,
If you'll trust him everyone.
He'll start to mend your shattered life,
And transform your behaviour,
I pray that you will find in Jesus,
Your own and personal saviour.
