Scottish-Irish aid fund move

A Scottish-Irish Omagh Fund has been set up to raise money for the victims of last Saturday's bombing in the Tyrone town, it was disclosed today. A minimum £50,000 has been guaranteed from a special gala night performance of The Celtic Story, the hugely-successful musical based on the famous Glasgow club's history. The money raised by the performance in Dublin's Gaiety Theatre will be passed on to victims of the blast, which killed 28 people and injured more than 200. Members of the public will be able to contribute to the fund.
One man is believed to have been arrested and three other fans are under investigation after allegedly disrupting the one-minute silence, in memory of the victims of the Omagh bombing.
The alleged incidents took place moments before Celtic were due to play Dundee United at Celtic Park today. It is thought all four were Celtic supporters.
