EMOTIONAL vigils where held all over Northern Ireland yesterday, as people paid their respects to the Omagh dead.

Lisburn Council, 'Time of Reflection', Market Square; Newtownards, interdenominational service, Queen's Hall; Ballymena, band stand, Broadway; Carrickfergus, war memorial; Lurgan, Interfriendship Group, Market Street; Armagh, Market Square; Newry, interdenominational service, Marcus Square; Bessbrook, special service; Larne, Inver war memorial; Carnlough, Glenough Community Centre; Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church, interdenominational service; town centres in Cookstown, Enniskillen, Magherafelt, Banbridge, Kesh and Belcoo were the venues for services, as well as Dungannon, Kilkeel and Downpatrick; Clogher, St Macartan's Cathedral, St Michael's Trory and St Margaret's Clabby; Portadown, An Act of Reflection, town centre; Londonderry, Guildhall Square; Castlederg, The Diamond; Limavady, Limavady District Orange Lodge No 6, war memorial.
