The picture was taken by a young tourist using an instamatic camera.
It show the red cavalier parked at the kerbside in Market Street - with shoppers strolling past, unaware of the horror about to be unleashed.
Police found the camera lying under tons of rubble - and miraculously the film, which could help trap the bombers, was still in tact.
But the amateur photographer who captured the dramatic scene became one of the victims of the deadly car bomb.
