OMAGH REVELATION NO SURPRISE
Omagh revelation 'no surprise'
THE latest revelation regarding the Omagh bombing shouldn't really surprise anyone who has followed the deceitful strategy of the Intelligence Services' dealings with Northern Ireland over the past 40 years. I have long claimed that the Omagh bombing was deliberately allowed in order to blacken the dissidents and improve the profile of Sinn Fein/Provisional IRA. The piece of the puzzle not yet revealed is the name of the 'Deep Throat' informer in the organisation. This latest revelation, of course, must be placed in the overall context of the Troubles' history ranging from the "state" murder of UDA man Tommy Herron; the "state-arranged" murder of republican Maire Drumm; the "convenient" murder of the Rev Robert Bradford MP; the collusion in the Enniskillen bombing; the "state-arranged" attempt on the life of Gerry Adams which could not be successful but was for the sole purpose of increasing his profile; blackmail of MPs, and the "collusion of the state" in the murder of republican Denis Donaldson, to name only a few.
The questions that must be asked are how many of the murders and atrocities could have been prevented if MI5 had not colluded with the terrorists and how many people in leading positions in our community have been put there by Government?
