Magistrate remands Omagh bomb accused
AN electrician charged with murdering 29 people in the Omagh bomb was yesterday remanded in custody by Belfast Magistrates.
Sean Gerard Hoey, 35, from Molly Road in Jonesborough, south Armagh, will appear again before Belfast magistrates on August 10.
He appeared by videolink from Maghaberry Prison in Co Antrim.
Hoey is the first person to be charged in connection with the 1998 atrocity.
