Dundalk man arrested in Newry due to go before court

A CO LOUTH man was charged last night with supplying the car used by the Real IRA to plant the Omagh bomb.
The 24-year-old, who was arrested in Newry on Monday, is due to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates Court this morning.
He will be charged with supplying the maroon car which the dissident republican group used to carry out the single worst atrocity of the Troubles.
Twenty-nine people, including a woman pregnant with twins, were killed and scores injured when the 5001b bomb exploded in the Tyrone town on a busy Saturday afternoon in August, 1998.
The charge follows police saying that 500 lines of inquiry were being followed North and South.
