Relatives call for Ahern meeting
RELATIVES of those killed in the Omagh bombing are calling on the Taoiseach to explain why the gardai failed to tell police in Northern Ireland that an attack was planned by dissident republicans.
Michael Gallagher, who lost his son Aidan, called on Bertie Ahern and Justice Minister Michael McDowell to meet the Omagh families. He said the relatives were owed a full disclosure from the Government and the gardai about the months leading up to the atrocity.
