Bomb fund head named

A MAGHERAFELT man has been appointed to manage the Omagh bomb disaster fund which is expected to raise £12 million for the victims of the August 15 atrocity.
Brian Oliphant has been seconded from Omagh District Council to act as organiser of the fund, launched last week.
He is a former chairman of Rainey Endowed Grammar School board of govenors in Magherafelt and is secretary to the select vestry of St Swithin's Parish Church.
