THREE QUIZZED ON BOMB

Three quizzed on bomb

GARDAI yesterday arrested three men for questioning about the bomb attack on Omagh, by the Real IRA terror group.
The trio were held in dawn raids on addresses in Dundalk, the base of several prominent supporters of the breakaway paramilitary organisation.
It was understood they were being quizzed about a stolen car used in the Omagh bombing that killed 29 and injured more than 200.
Two of those arrested were being held in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, where the car was stolen and where south-of-the-border inquiries into the terrorist outrage have been centred.
The third man was being questioned in nearby Monaghan town.
Last week, Eire police arrested seven people, including four members of the same family for questioning in connection with the Omagh bomb. All were later released.
