12 quizzed over blast
POLICE, in raids on both sides of the border, arrested 12 men yesterday in connection with the Omagh bombing.
The RUC made dawn swoops on the homes of six men in the Armagh area who were arrested and are currently being quizzed.
Gardai arrested three men - all single and aged between 19 and 34 - in Co Monaghan and later detained a further three.
A security source confirmed the men were suspected of involvement in stealing the red Vauxhall Cavalier car in which the Omagh bomb was planted.
No-one has yet been charged in connection with the bombing, which killed 29 people and injured more than 200 others last month.
