PAINFUL JOURNEY HOME

Painful journey home

IT was only a short walk home for these five Omagh High School pupils yesterday.
But it was probably the most painful journey any of them will ever make.
For they were missing their friend and fellow classmate Lorraine Wilson who used to walk home with three of them every day after school.
Among them is the tragic 15-year-old's cousin Lynette Bradley, 16. She visited a grief counsellor with her mum but admitted: "I won't he going again. It didn't help much."
She barely spoke a word as the others paid tribute to the bubbly teenager who was described as a powerhouse of fun and laughter.
"She would always make you smile if you felt down," said Colleen McCann, 15.
"Valerie McCausland added: "We just can't believe she's gone."
The five girls are now trying to accept the rest of their schooldays and their lives without Lorraine.
