OMAGH BOMB SUSPECTS RELEASED
Omagh bomb suspects released
THE last of 15 people held for questioning on both sides of the border this week for questioning about the Omagh bomb outrage were released without charge last night.
The two men were freed after being questioned by detectives at Monaghan.
In all, 11 people were detained under the terms of terrorist legislation in the Republic in a series of police swoops that began on Sunday, and four were held in Northern Ireland.
Last August's bomb in Omagh killed 29 people and injured more than 200.
So far one man, Co Armagh publican and building contractor Colm Murphy, 46, has been charged in connection with the attack.
He was accused at Dublin's anti-terrorist Special Criminal Court earlier this year of conspiracy to cause an explosion and membership of an illegal organisation and is currently on bail awaiting trial.
