Omagh victims meet Boyz

DUBLIN pop superstars Bozyone brought a smile back to the young face of Omagh yesterday.
Just minutes before stepping on the King's Hall stage for the first of two live shows, they met young fans caught in the explosion which devastated the Tyrone town.
Lead singer Ronan Keating hugged Teresa Poyntz and her daughter Laura, 11, when told that they were caught in the blast.
They were joined by Kathy Poyntz, aged seven, who escaped injury.
"Everyone in Omagh has put a brave face on things, this is just our way of doing something to help," said Ronan.
"Being here in Belfast and seeing so many young smiling faces is great - it's different than the things we saw when we were in Omagh two months ago."
Clutching presents from fans, Boyzone were introduced to Omagh children and leukaemia sufferers.
Ronan met super-fans Anna Marie Cairns, 18, and 12-year-old fanatic Arlene Ronan.
"It's a dream come true for me," said Anna Marie, clutching photographs of the band. "Ronan was great, they all were.
"I can't believe how nice they have been, I'll never forget this for the rest of my life," she said.
Arlene was equally jubilant: "I 'm a massive fan but I never thought I 'd get this close to my heroes," she told the News Letter.
"They have all been brilliant - they are the nicest people in the world, as well as the best band."
Boyzone will stage two concerts in Omagh on January 2 to crowds of just 1000. "We are really looking forward to the concerts," said band member Keith Duffy.
"We are trying to do our bit for Omagh - the people there have been brilliant, this is a small opportunity to do something positive."
